Performing Arts Technical Coordinator
H5 - H6 (£22,269-£25,927 pro rata per annum) to be agreed based on expertise.
37 hours per week during term time, plus 2 weeks during holidays and INSET days
We are seeking an individual with creative flair and technical expertise who is willing to become fully involved in the dynamic life of our wonderful school. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with experience as a Theatre Technician or a graduate from a Production Arts/Lighting and Sound for Stage/Live Events degree course.
The Knights Templar School has a long tradition of excellence in the Performing Arts and we are looking to build on this. We are keen to find someone with experience and vision who will work alongside the Head of Drama to develop and update the technical resources and practices at the school.
We have a thriving group of theatre and music student technicians who work under the supervision of the Technical Coordinator. We are seeking someone who will have experience in technical theatre and music technology with the ability to train, support and facilitate our student technicians. The right candidate will be self-motivated and show initiative.
The post will attract Grade H5 – H6 to be agreed based on expertise with working hours to be 37 hours per week during term-time, plus a further two weeks to be worked on INSET days and during the school holiday. An element of flexibility to the daily hours will be required.
