Year 6 into Year 7

Year 6 into Year 7

The Knights Templar School is a co-educational, all-ability school for children aged 11-18.  There are 210 spaces available in Year 7 each September.  This is our Published Admission Number (PAN).

All applications and appeals for admission to The Knights Templar School are managed by Hertfordshire County Council on our behalf.  Information about the application process can be found on their website.

The Knights Templar School does not require a Supplementary Information Form to accompany applications or appeals.

Open Mornings

The Open Mornings took place on Tuesday, 5th and Wednesday 6th October 2021.

As we continue to work towards keeping our whole school community safe by reducing the transmission of COVID, we are currently no longer offering any further visits to school. However, many aspects of the Open Mornings are available by clicking here for our Virtual Visit and photographs of the school site are available here.

COVID-19 Arrangements

Wearing masks on the school site is voluntary, but requested for those visiting the school, and we also ask that any visitors over the age of 11 complete a lateral flow test and receive a negative result before joining us.

Further to this we are politely requesting that only one parent or carer and Year 6 child attend per family, and that families of Year 4 or 5 children refrain from attending this year.

Parking Arrangements

Unfortunately, we do not have parking available on site. If possible, please walk to the school, otherwise The Twitchell car park, operated by North Hertfordshire District Council, is a short walk away and costs £1.10 for up to three hours. Parking on site will be made available for visitors with disabilities. Please contact the school reception (admin@kts.school) to arrange this.
